Description
Master the CMR Convention. Gain insight into the consignment note, the carrier’s liability and the rights of all involved parties.
As the world becomes increasingly multimodal, road haulage remains omnipresent: whether for the first or last mile, a truck or even a cargo bike is always involved. This means you will likely be required to sign a CMR consignment note for the transportation of goods. But how do you interpret such a document correctly? How do you use it, and which information belongs in each specific box?
Multiple parties are involved in this process, such as the shipper and the carrier. But what about the consignee, subcontractors, freight forwarders, and logistics warehouses? This training provides a practical, hands-on explanation with real-world examples regarding the rules and responsibilities of all parties involved.
Who is this course intended for?
Whether you are directly involved in road haulage, work as a carrier, or regularly encounter the CMR consignment note: this training is for you. The course is suitable for both newcomers to the sector and experienced professionals in need of a refresher on the legislation.
